Mine went well enough, then on the 26/27th my family went into LA to attend a military ball. That was nice enough considering I didn't know anyone there. Finished the majority of my finals yesterday!  I still have to go back on Monday for the last one, but it's not one I'm concerned about.   It's a relief to have that stuff out of the way.  I already sold back my books too, so on Monday after class I can get out of there!   Instead of waiting around a few hours for the bus, I'm having my mom pick me ( Read more... )

Southern California is on fire.

There aren't any fires in my immediate area, but they are still close enough that we'll be affected by them.  So far the freeways I take to school are open and the campus hasn't sent out any notices that they'll be closing, but that could change by tomorrow since conditions are expected to be worse.  I'll be ( Read more... )

After going over a week without my desktop PC, I finally have it back!  My power supply had gone bad and while I had ordered a new one before it had completely died, the new one just came in today. -_-  I also had to buy some new fans for the computer, and while I was doing that I also bought a new monitor.>_I had been looking into different ( Read more... )

So, yesterday I went to the beach, where there was much time spent kayaking, playing in the water, and just being out in the sun.  This resulted in me now having a rather painful sunburn on my legs >_<.  But the sunset last night was very pretty.

Just got back about two hours ago after being at the beach all day.  My legs are very much sunburned and they hurt! -_-   I am trying to work up the courage to take a shower, because I know that is going to be painful  ;_;.  Despite the sunburn,  I had a great time and took some really nice pictures that I will post tomorrow.
